Copper Sulphate

It is used in agriculture to prepare Bordeaux mixtures. It is used in the preparation of mineral pigments and of enamels, in galvanic technology, in petrochemistry (in the so-called softening processes), as a catalyst in organic reactions, as an help in the flotation, it is used in textile industry , in fermentation and as a disinfectant to destroy alga. The anhydrous salt is used in analytical chemistry to reveal traces of water in absolute alcohol.
