Hydrochloric Acid

Hydrochloric acid is an inorganic acid largely used in chemical industry. It is used to treat ores and raw phosphates, it is used in the organic industrial processes as a reagent or by-product, it is used in pickling ant in the superficial treatment of metals.
The hydrochloric acid is an important reagent in chemical analysis, too. It is largely used to titrate in the measurement of alkalinity.

It is used as an alimentary additive and classified as E 507.

In human beings and animals it is the main component of gastric juices that create in the stomach while digesting.
The hydrochloric acid can be found on the market in solution with different concentrations. It is a yellowish liquid used to produce ammonium chloride and, usually, metal chloride. It is used to produce chlorine. It is used to produce the hydrochloride of amine and of organic base. It is used to produce vinyl chloride and ethyl chloride. It is used to produce tartaric acid. It is used to hydrolyse the starch in glucose. It is used to purify the decolorizing black and to activate decolorizing argil and earth. It is used in the pickling and zinc-plating of metals.
It is used in tanning. It is used to produce chlorine caoutchouc. It is used as a dehydrating in organic condensation with water formation. It is used to produce carbonic acid. It is used to produce fatty acid. It is used in the textile industry, in the paper industry and in the colouring materials industry. It is used in chemical analysis, etc. It is also used in medicine, in diluted solution, as an eupeptic in hypochlorhydria. Depending on the use different levels of pureness are requested. It is used in Countries with oil to activate the oil wells.
