Fluoboric Acid

The fluoboric acid is a clear colourless, highly acid liquid. The concentrate solutions melt the silica and attack the glass.
It is used in chemical industry to produce fluoborates. It is used as a catalyst in organic reactions. It is used as a component of electrolyte for the galvanic deposition of metals. It is used to clean metal surfaces before plating, and it is usually used in the finishing of metal surfaces. It is used in the electrocleaning of aluminium. It is used in colouring materials industry as a stabilizer of diazosalts. It is also used as a conservative in glues and adhesives.
