Sulphuric Acid
The sulphuric acid is used in almost every sector so
much so that it is considered one of the most important chemical products.
The sulphuric acid from 65 to 78 % is used to produce phosphate fertilizer,
sulphate of ammonium, mineral and organic acids, sulphate of different
metals, hydrogen peroxide, it is used in the tinning and zinc-plating
of the iron, it is used to produce artificial textile fibres and to produce
the cellophane, it is used to produce parchment paper, it is used in the
nella saccharification of the wood, it is used in hydrolysis reactions,
it is use to dye the wool and the silk, it is used in those kinds of reaction
where a strong acid in aqueous means is requested.
The sulphuric acid at 98-100 % is used to produce explosives, it is used
as a sulphonating agent to produce intermediate products, in particular
to produce colouring materials, cationic resins etc. , it is used to refine
nella the oil, it is used to produce sulphonitric mixture for the nitration,
it is used as a catalyst of alkylation, esterification, it is used as
a condensative agent and together with the dichromate it is used in chromic
oxidizations. The sulphuric acid is also used in the industry of mineral
colours, of candles, of soaps, of glucose, of syrup and refined sugar;
It is used as a laboratory reagent and it is used in the organic synthesis;
it is used as a dehydrating agent; it is used in electrical accumulators,
it is used in metallurgy and in the working of precious metals; it is
used in galvanoplastics, in metal pickling, in the photographic and printing
processes, it is used as neutralizer etc.
