Sodium hydroxide

Sodium hydroxide is used especially in the industries of rayon viscose, soaps, intermediate products for colourings for cellulose paints and enamels. They are used to formulate boilers compound, in mineral oil purification and in that of petrol to remove sulphuric acid waste; it is used in cotton mercerization; it is used to dye and print textile products; it is used in rubber industry, to prepare alumina by Bayer process; it is used to regenerate rubber; it is used as a solvent for casein and for a lot of other uses.
